General Terms and Conditions of Use (GTCU) – Talents
Between the Committee for Studies and Services of Maritime and Transport Insurers (CESAM), an Economic Interest Grouping with its registered office at 11-15 rue Saint Georges – 75009 Paris, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 351030200, represented by Mr. Pascal DUBOIS in his capacity as Managing Director, hereinafter referred to as “CESAM”.

The individual registering on the TALENTS platform to view job offers or submit a CV, hereinafter referred to as “the Candidate”,
On the other hand,
The following has been stated and agreed upon:
CESAM, through the internet platform https://www.cesam.org/talent, provides “Candidates” with a dedicated space for searching for professional opportunities in the maritime and transport insurance sector.
This platform allows candidates to create a profile, upload their CV, and apply for job offers published by recruiters.
Access to and use of this space are subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms"), which the candidate acknowledges having read, understood, and accepted upon registering on the platform.
1. Purpose
These Terms define the conditions under which "talent" users may access and use the TALENTS section of the CESAM website (www.cesam.org) free of charge to create a candidate profile, publish their CV in the CV database (for apprentices, interns, and those seeking their first job), and view and apply for job offers published by recruiters.
2. Registration and User Account
Registration is free and requires the creation of a personal account. The user agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information and to maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials.
3. Use of the platform
The user agrees to use the platform for professional purposes, to provide truthful information, and not to disseminate illegal, offensive, or misleading content.
4. User content and license
The candidate retains ownership of their content (CV, cover letter, etc.). By publishing this content, they grant CESAM a non-exclusive, free, and revocable license to display it on the platform and make it accessible to recruiters. Revocation of this license will result in the immediate closure of the candidate's account.
5. Data protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with the GDPR. Retention period: a maximum of one year after the last contact. Candidates may exercise their rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection) by contacting the Data Protection Officer at the following address: pmassip@cesam.org.
6. Liability
Neither the TALENTS platform nor CESAM guarantees the accuracy of published job offers or the hiring process. They are not responsible for any exchanges or decisions made outside the platform.
7. Reporting
Candidates may report any abusive content or behavior through the provided reporting mechanism (reporting procedure). The platform may suspend or remove the content in question after verification.
8. Account Suspension and Deletion
The platform may suspend or delete an account for non-compliance with the Terms of Service or the law. Users may delete their accounts at any time.
9. Modification of the Terms of Service
The platform may modify these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in the service or regulations. Users will be notified of any such changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by French law. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district where the platform's registered office is located in Paris.
